Distort WebRadar vs CS Radar

Distort opens a hosted radar room supplied by a compatible client. CS Radar documents a local web server that viewers reach on the same network. The useful comparison is how a room reaches your second screen and what you need to keep it running.

Hosted room or local-network address?

CS Radar's guide explicitly requires the viewing device to share the game PC's network. That can suit someone who only wants a phone or tablet beside the same PC. Distort's viewer opens a hosted room URL. A viewer therefore needs internet access, the room details and a producer that is still sending updates. Distort depends on the hosted service being reachable. Decide where you will watch before comparing a list of display options.

CS Radar viewing requirements

What you need before opening the viewer

Neither browser page creates match data by itself. CS Radar's documentation describes a licensed Windows application feeding its local server. Distort needs an active room from a compatible client. If your Distort link includes a viewer token, keep that token with the link and share it only with intended viewers. A Room ID alone is not enough for a room that requires a token. There is no reason to share a producer credential with another viewer.

Read the price as a product cost

The table records CS Radar's advertised access durations in US dollars on October 5, 2026. Check its checkout for the final amount and current terms. Distort WebRadar is a viewer for a compatible product, so its cost cannot be compared by assigning the browser page a zero-dollar price. Review the Distort product you intend to use, including access duration and support. Compare the complete setup you would actually buy, using the same period and currency.

Decide which setup fits

CS Radar is worth evaluating if same-network viewing is your main requirement and its documented license terms suit your PC. Distort is worth evaluating if you already have a compatible Distort client and want to open or share its hosted room. These are workflow suggestions based on documentation, not results from a performance test. We have not measured the two products side by side. We also do not claim that either setup is permitted by a particular competitive service or makes an account safe from enforcement.

Switching does not transfer a live room

Treat the switch as a new session. Obtain room details from the destination product and check that the viewer receives current data before depending on it. Distort display preferences are saved in the current browser; we do not provide a CS Radar settings importer or a license transfer. The default Distort room lifetime is five minutes without a valid producer update. An open browser tab does not keep an inactive room alive. Product-level setup questions belong in Distort support.
